Artist Statement: She feels the stares of others deep on her soul. She can't hide the stares and sees the thoughts of others. What others think of her disturbs her yet she continues to look past the eyes of others to see her true natural beauty. I feel that because of white supremacy and racial injustice in the world we live in people are being judged left and right and looked at for all the bad. And that’s all I believe - if we look pass all the hate we can learn to live and live with each other. This is our home. If we stop fighting with each other we can save what we have for now and future generations.
